Fall · Wine Weekend
Seneca Lake produces America's most interesting Riesling. The last week of September through the third week of October is when the wine trail is at full volume — harvest in, library pours open, tasting rooms warmer and less crowded than summer.
The Experience
You arrive Friday afternoon. Firewood is already split on the deck. Two bottles of Seneca Lake Riesling are waiting on the counter, chilled. A printed itinerary with our partner winery list, restaurant picks, and a morning walking route is on the entry table.
Saturday is the wine day. We arrange a private library tasting at one of our winemaker partners — a quieter, deeper experience than a weekend tasting-room line. The afternoon is yours: another winery, a long lunch at a partner chef's counter, or a slow walk along the lake.
Sunday morning is the one where nobody checks the phone until ten. Coffee on the dock. The kayaks go in. By the time you head home, you've already booked October again next year.
